The Honourable Pru Goward officially opened the Wingello State Forest horse riding trails on Friday 7th September 2018. This project was organised by Southern Highlands Endurance Ride Inc, with fantastic support from NSW Forestry, from the Office of Sport and Recreation, and from New-Moon Stud. The trails are permanently marked to enable riders to enjoy this wonderful forest at any time, on marked loop trails of known distance.
Around 40 riders attended the official opening, to hear addresses by The Honourable Pru Goward, Tom Bagnel (Moss Vale Area Superviser, NSW Forestry), and Bec Hogan (President of Southern Highlands Endurance Ride Inc).
It was a lovely sunny morning for morning tea in the forest, and Snax on Trax Cafe attended to serve coffee and hot drinks from their fabulous mobile set-up.
